There are numerous associations and committees that are formed within the College to facilitate various academic and administrative developments and grievances.
The Nongstoin College Students’ Association is the only recognized students` association in the College. It is an elected body of Class Representatives. The office bearers are elected from among these Representatives.

The Committee looks into the academic progress of departments or individual teachers. It also initiates innovative practices in teaching and learning at the same time monitors the progress of teaching in accordance with the prescribed syllabus. It also oversees the framing of academic calendar, students and teachers attendance, academic routine and leave diary of teachers.

It also examines the student progression and explores the strategies to control drop-outs. It also oversees the self-appraisal report of teachers and departments.
